MISSION STATEMENT

To bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, support and both local and national recognition.

GNBABWA Executive BoardWhen women get together, amazing things can happen. And that's just what the American Business Women's Association is all about - women joining forces to further themselves professionally and personally. Not only do our members get the inside track on the issues facing their local communities, but they also are plugged into the trends and events that drive today's national public and private industries. Succeeding in business today is all about what you know, whom you know and who knows you. And ABWA can provide you with these advantages.

THE TRAINING YOU NEED

Knowledge is power. And today, you need a resource you can turn to for information about a wide variety of topics. You also need to know how to use that information to benefit yourself or your employer. Through ABWA, you will be able to participate in the following educational opportunities: Leadership development programs, in-depth business skills training courses, continuing education certificate programs, and grants and loans programs for academic and nonacademic classes.

THE NETWORKING YOU WANT

Making contact with other business-savvy professionals is what puts you ahead. But networking is an art that many people have not perfected. That's why ABWA has made teaching women this career-critical skill part of its mission.
